It's not every day you find yourself staying in a property that's featured on local tourism signs, but this is one. I loved it. If you want the experience of staying in a true Edo place... stay here. The bathroom and kitchen have been updated (the wooden bathroom smells amazing). There are modern toilets. But the rest is original Edo style. It's a great place to use as a base for a roadtrip around the Kiso River Valley. You just feel like you're in another time. I absolutely loved it, and would stay here again.

Resembling a Swiss chalet in the Japanese Alps, Landhaus Dancru Netz is steps away from the free shuttle to local ski resorts. The hotel features a garden and free Wi-Fi. Perfect location for use of the free shuttle and close to plenty of great restaurants and bars in Echoland. Rooms were super comfortable and clean. The hosts were really welcoming and kind and provided a great breakfast. We would 100% stay here again.
