Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. The apartment was perfectly located in the historical downtown . Minutes away, by foot, were shops, restaurants, and bars. It was a gem for wine lovers, with many shops and cellars for tasting as well. The parking area was easy to find and in close proximity to the apartment . We had a lovely walk outside the historical walls, and the views were stunning everywhere we looked. There was a small store near the apartment to purchase basic items for meals and snacks, and a much larger one, again, within walking distance, selling anything one needed. We were very comfortable sleeping and enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen . We recommend staying here and would definitely return ourselves. It was nothing short of perfect! The hosts were great ; available if we needed them ( we didn't) and answered any questions I had prior to the trip.

Set 44 km from Mount Amiata, La Casa nel Borgo in Monticchiello offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. The town itself is very quaint and has some excellent restaurants and there are amazing views all around. I was there with a group of 4 and we took over both apartments, upstairs and downstairs, which was really fun, it felt like we could really move in. This is an incredibly quiet and sleepy town, so no concerns about noise at night. I would recommend this location for people who would like to visit Montepulciano / Siena and the surrounding area, but don't want to stay in a heavily touristic town, but also want to be in a spot where they can walk to dinner (Ristorante Daria was excellent, for example, and just down the road). For those who like it quiet and peaceful, this is a really great location for this area.
