The downstairs apartment is clean and feels fresh, the beds were super comfortable (in fact I peeked at the brand so I would know for future mattress purchases) and the whole place is adorably decorated. They are still working on getting the kitchen set up, so if you are coming in the near future, bring meals and foods you can warm up in the microwave, bagels for the toaster, and don’t forget the ice cream which you can have while enjoying the gorgeous view outside your door. Catherine and Jeff were wonderful to work with and very responsive. All around, a wonderful home base for those planning on exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island.

Brand new cottage - beautifully designed & tastefully decorated. Charming "Brass" & "Apple" theme throughout, befitting its name! Located in a quiet & safe residential neighborhood, and yet, just steps away to a park, restaurants, & market. Cottage was sparkling clean with comfy beds, powerful shower & plush towels. Well stocked kitchen & washer/dryer were super helpful for longer stays. Really appreciated modern conveniences (electronic blinds, night lights in bath) & thoughtful small touches (drinks in fridge, cotton pads/swabs in bath, etc). Most importantly, awesome hosts - friendly, accommodating, and proactive. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

Jordan River Coastal Cottage menawarkan penginapan di Shirley, 38km dari Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre. Great communication with host, spotlessly clean, loved having coffee for the morning. Super super comfy beds!!! The only thing that could be improved is some curtains for light blocking and privacy. We loved access to the walking trails to the beach! A really lovely, peaceful stay.
