The place is beautiful, Deborah (the host) is lovely and we slept like babies. Something you notice when you are doing a road trip for the east of Canada with a toddler 😅 So the place is also child-friendly. Mostly, baby-friendly as even if the bed is big, is big enough for two adults and one toddler only (ours is 1yr and a half). The cabin is small but very well distribute and so so clean.

We had the place all to ourselves, and accessing the property was done via door code that was sent to us in advance of our arrival via email. Although we never met our hosts in person, they were very nice to deal with through the whole process before and after our stay. The facilities for a "cottage" are great (spacious bathroom with good shower water pressure and temperature, spacious eat-in kitchen, propane BBQ on back deck). There were also cool little features like white noise devices in the bedrooms to help you sleep. The location is great, too, as we walked into town each morning via a pedestrian footbridge and path. I hope to come back and stay here again!

It is located just on the edge of a park and on the York river. Beutifull view. Very wuit location. We used the kitchen a lot - stoves, oven, dishwasher and barbique. All were extremely conviniant. It is also within walking distance from several shops and restaurants.
