The property was located overlooking the Maas, and within a 10 minute drive of Maastricht city. The views were beautiful, and everything in the property was set up for a weekend away. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The shower was excellent and the bathroom well stocked for forgotten essentials.

Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, comfortably appointed, and conveniently located, Le Petit Béguinage is an excellent base for exploring Tongeren and the Tri-Border region. The owners are friendly, informative, and prompt with their responses to questions. Access is easily facilitated with a keybox, and, thoughtfully, two sets of keys are provided, allowing visitors to go their separate ways and still access the property - something that's often lacking in other rentals. Do note, however, that this property exists on three levels, and, due to its age, has steep stairs. It is not appropriate for people who are differently abled.

Quiet, beautiful view from the window, a castle nearby, free parking. As for the interior design of the tenement house, it is quite old but it has an amazing atmosphere. Some of the items placed there (e.g. in the public dining room) are for sale (they have prices). So if you like trinkets with soul, you will find something for yourself. The rooms are cozy, spacious and very clean. Ours had a bathroom, it was huge, as was the shower cabin - exceptionally large. On site you will find a hair dryer, extra towels and even a hair straightener.

The heating was on when we got there which made it extra cosy which was lovely of the host to do before we got there . The bathroom was a very good size included a bath and shower . The sofa bed was really ideal as I had my two children with me and they slept on there . I bought long with me two blankets anyway as we travelled by car . The kitchen was a good size . For me the cleanliness of the apartment was really fresh and clean .
