Dubavi is a little house full of history on the edge of town, the people living there passed away and it’s still full of books, vinyls and even a piano belonging to the others. The daughter is the one managing the property now and she was really lovely and welcoming. Great, modern house for big families to stay. Many small details worked out. You can see that the owners have really put in work to secure everything you could imagine for a comfortable stay. All was clean, beds were comfortable, sauna & hot tub was also great and easy to manage. All in all - great place to stay in Valmiera for bigger groups 👏🏻

A great wooden house in the middle of the woods, self designed and self constructed with a sauna, warming us after a very rainy and cold day. A pity that we couldn't take profit of all the accomodations outside. Flowers from the garden, put before the window, to welcome us.So nice.

Super good place for people staying with dogs. Upon arrival, the house was warm and cozy. The next night it was -14 degrees cold, but the room stayed warm until the morning with one stove full of wood. Some rooms were even too hot. I get allergies in some old houses, but in this house I never had to take allergy medicine.

the location is just out of this world. a beautiful view over the lake, its incredibly quiet and serene out there. feels like a proper tree house in a forest, and despite the host's house being on the same property, we felt very secluded.

The family left no stone unturned - attention to detail at it’s best- they provided us with valuable information about activities near the property- and the upgrade to using the sauna and hot tub was the cherry on the cake- property close to the river, and lots of hiking trails too- property was comfortable and warm- all facilities were modern and up to date- a coffee machine with pods, sugar and any possible items were available-
