Willow cottage is 230 years old and has been updated with all the creature comforts. The winter stream out the front provides the sound of water trickling gently at nighttime. We saw our first Robin redbreast in the yard under the bird feeder. An assortment of interesting books and curios added to our stay. We did not have time to use the jacuzzi as our stay was unfortunately too short, but it would be wonderful this time of year. A short car trip to Stonehenge and only a little further on to Avebury. The butchers next door sells tasty sausages, we liked the Cumberland and the pork & leek. Sue was a wonderful host, communication was prompt and access to the cottage was unproblematic. This accommodation has been curated with taste and to provide comfort, it's a home away from home.

Our large family loved staying at the granary cottage. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay a great one. They have games and a cute doll house and toys, which my children enjoyed. The kitchen was the most well stocked of any property we have ever stayed in. The decor was charming and the property a great mix of historic and modern. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great character cottage in its own grounds, the cottage was cosy and had everything I required. Loved the fact that they had provided logs, kindling and lighters as i stayed in a cold spell and it was great to be able to have the fire going.

So peaceful! Beautiful location, warm welcome, thoughtful gift pack, Great facilities, suntrap garden. Could be booked with Little Willow for two couples. Being able to go for walks from the door. Primrose Organic was a treasure to find, stock up Fri or Sat from 10am. Amazing views driving to or from Tiny Willow and especially from Hambledon Hill.

Literally everything. We loved this place! It was the first stop on our 7 week travels around Europe and this was the best place we stayed out of everywhere! The bed was THE most comfortable bed we have ever stayed in including fancy hotels! The views were lovely and the entire house was just such a nice atmosphere. The only thing I would say is screen shot the lock box code before you arrive as there’s no internet to access booking.com until you get in and on the wifi. We did have to drive down the road to the pub but this was our mistake! We were even greeted with little scrabble letters spelling out “g’day” to us which was a lovely touch! It made us smile after a long and tiring drive and they are the sort of things we really appreciated about this place. We would 100% stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone!

    The cottage is very spacious and well appointed. It is set in a garden with a private patio and access to lots of outdoor space. 10 minutes walk along a quiet, pretty lane, gets you to the wonderful local pub and to gorgeous rural walking routes. A welcome basket included tea, coffee, muesli, porridge, sugar, milk and eggs........more than enough for two good breakfasts for the four of us. The owner is a lovely lady, who also runs the separate Buddhist Retreat in another building on the site.

    Location was lovely with rolling fields, horses and we were lucky to see two Roe deer. Super quiet too considering the horses and farm setting. Helen was fabulous, nothing was too much effort- even though she is busy running her stud farm too! Beautiful village, local pubs and CoOp, and only 30 mins away from Longleat and Stonehenge! When in the area, we’ll definitely be back! X

    Luxury hotel-standard accommodation in a beautiful setting. Lots of thoughtful touches and a super-helpful host. My teens loved seeing the animals too. Highly recommend.
