The hosts were lovely friendly people. Heisger was a beautifully built pod with lots of little touches that added to the comfort. We would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

The Wheelhouse is one of the most relaxing place to stay even when you sent two days in the windy storm Amy, you still feel peacefully comfortable and cosy into this little wooden house like. Thanks so much to Dorothy and Iain, you were very helpful and friendly (Björn and Susie too !) The crab and the cucumber were so good ! We ate the crab in our sandwiches during an other wonderful walk on the island. Thanks to Martin Gillingham we've even been able to find an otter fishing. We enjoyed our day trip to discover all the wildlife. We stayed for two weeks but it was not long enough to explore all of the beautiful and stunning landscapes of Uist. For sure, we'll come back ! Merci beaucoup !

The location was great and we saw lots of birds just sitting outside at the front of the house. We were lucky with the weather so we’re out a lot but the cottage would have been a very comfortable retreat in bad weather. Barry and Margaret were very helpful.
