The proprietors met and introduced themselves and were very helpful. They made a sincere effort. I appreciated this. The pool is small but perfectly maintained and an absolute delight for a morning swim Th breakfast was simple and the orange juice was exceptional

The house was a great size for three families with children to holiday together. The pool was really clean and well looked after. There was a huge outdoor space for the children to play, with a volleyball/badminton court which was really fun. It was wonderful to have the bbq available to use as well. The house was well equipped with all the cutlery and crockery you would need, as well as a a high chair and cot for young children which was very helpful. The house was beautiful, the location was very pretty, and the hosts were generous in their time to help us with our questions about the local area, including suggesting some beautiful running routes through the surrounding countryside.

Our stay in Saint-Chels was wonderful. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, with very comfortable beds. The village is small and quiet, surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for relaxing walks. It’s perfect for couples or families, and pets are welcome. The hosts were warm and welcoming, giving us great tips about the area. There’s a lot to see and explore within a short drive. We are definitely going back!

    Very friendly welcome by the hosts. Extremely quiet location. Great view to be enjoyed from the huge terrace. Cute alpacas around. Beautiful interior design with great attention to details and all necessary utilities. Large TV screen with Netflix. Many things to see and do in the area: villages, towns, walks, valleys, etc. Overall surely one of the best "gîtes" in France.
