Located in Frösakull, 8 km from Halmstad, Halmstad Golfarena Hotell features a 9-hole golf course and other golfing options. Wonderful structure in a great location. The best accomodation we got in our three week road-trip in Sweden. We would absolutely come back. We had one of the small flat units close to the artificial lake - they are stunning. Breakfast was also excellent. Kids also loved the playground. Staff was super nice and welcoming.

Surrounded by an oak forest and open fields, Stakaberg Konferens & Gårdshotell is located in the beautiful landscape of Halland, only 9 km from Halmstad. The breakfast was great. Stakaberg is in the countryside, which we prefer during summertime. We loved the beautiful outdoor areas for breakfast.

Apelvikstrand Strandhus offers modern, self-catering holiday homes next to Apelvik Beach, 3 km south of central Varberg. Each accommodation has a furnished patio, kitchenette and flat-screen TV. There was really nothing not to like. I did experience a little difficult checking in as it was late and dark, and signage leaves a little to be desired. I have to take partial blame though, as if I had read my emails properly I would have realised there was an app to download that helped matters. The cottages are unpretentious but very nice, the location is unbeatable if scenery is your preference, and I had the good fortune to visit in the off-season making my stay great value. I fully expect the prices to be dramatically different in the high season though.

This hotel is a gem. So much to see, so much to explore. Books everywhere, so many lovely details in every room and every common area. Breakfast was very good, and it's only five minutes by foot to the sea and the train station.

Stunningly located on the edge of the forest, Tylebäck Hotell & Konferens is a modern hotel just 550 metres from Sweden´s most famous beach and 8 km from the centre of Halmstad. The women i spoke too was very helpful. She took care of my late check in. It was very easy! I am very thankful, because I was very tired!

This is a Grand Old Hotel right next to the river in quiet Falkenberg. I booked last minute and was suprised how nice the single traveller room was. Soft linens nice towels. Clean bathroom with hot water. Good wifi and friendly staff. Bar and and breakfast downstairs were convenient.
