Jardim da Lapa by Shiadu offers 3-star accommodation with a hammam. It was a wonderful experience. I was very close to cancelling my next trip to Porto so I could enjoy this hotel for longer. The breakfast was quite varied and eggs were made fresh to order. There were lots of beach chairs in the yard to lounge by the pool, with plenty of sports in the shade or the sun to choose from. The pool is small but still good for a little swim. The yard is very green, with large treed and many song birds. It feels like an oasis.

No breakfast provided in the cost of the room but there were some free snacks at the reception which was appreciated. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Right in the heart of old city and literally a few steps away from Metro which makes it great for early morning departures to airport.

The rooms are decorated with wooden parquet floors and white painted walls. Each room includes a seating area with a cable TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms can accommodate a baby cot, at an extra fee. Great place, great staff, great location. Rooms were a little small (nowhere really to easily put stuff for a couple travelling) but very clean and comfortable. Overall I would recommend this place:)

This hotel features uniquely decorated rooms on Alegria Square. Renovated in 2016, the Hotel boasts a Romantic-style décor, with authentic Portuguese antiques. It is a 3-minute walk from Avenida Metro Station and from Avenida da Liberdade's trendy shops. Excellent stay in this very nice and tasteful decorated hotel. Excellent service and very nicely decorated room with excellent aminities. Delicious breakfast with very good choice. Location very close to all major sights.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 600 metres from Dona Maria II National Theatre. Very satisfied, great staff, small but super nice room in the middle of the city, walking distance from most of the attractions, and fair price given the location. Will definetly choose it again in the future.
