They cleaned the rooms daily, breakfast area has a great view, lobby and main area is super nice and comfortable with beautiful fish tanks, computers to use. Tea and coffee at reception and laundry service. Great location, I can’t fault it, the best place we’ve stayed in Peru so far!

This is a lovely boutique hotel hidden away on a quiet street that's just a 10-minute walk from Arequipa's centro histórico. The staff were very courteous and helpful, the rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and my favorite part was the gorgeous garden with the spectacular molle tree at the center, with tables and benches to sit around and enjoy the ambiance. The breakfast buffet was fairly good, and the restaurant has a decent a la carte menu as well. Great value for money overall, a hidden gem in Arequipa!

Conveniently located in the commercial centre, Casona Plaza Hotel Colonial offers comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped common kitchen in Arequipa. Luna bus station is 100 metres... Really great time in this hotel! Nice localisation, great staff and flexible with my booking because I booked a last minute colca canyon trek! Highly recommended!

Situated in Arequipa’s picturesque historical district, Mirador del Monasterio has comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi. A daily buffet breakfast is offered and the airport is only 8 km away. This hotel was a great way to finish , in comfort , a 9 week holiday. It has all we wanted and the staff are very helpful.

Located 300 metres from the main square and Mercaderes street and right behind the Monastery of Santa Catalina (built in 1579), Las Torres de Ugarte offers free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast in central... Had such a great stay here. Rooms were large and clean, the gardens were beautiful and LoLo the tortoise was a particular highlight. Breakfast also delicious.

Only 1 km from the Main Square, Casa Arequipa offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma TVs in Arequipa. A rooftop bar and common kitchen facilities are featured. The commercial area is 1 km away. The rooms are beautiful. We stayed in the library room which was stunning. The location is great - a short walk from the centre. But what made our stay was the staff. Eddie and his team couldn’t have done more for us. They were great with recommendations, helping us with laundry and are just incredibly kind and welcoming. The best place we’ve stayed in South America. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Set in a refurbished mansion with charming colonial style architecture, La Casa de Melgar is set in Arequipa’s historical district. La casa de Melgar Rooms are divided by beautiful little courtyards full of flowers and trees. The staff are welcoming and friendly and very helpful, in particular Lydia, who speaks good English, and organised an early check-in for our morning arrival on the Cruz Del Sur bus. She also booked a taxi for our departure, which was far better than dealing with uber. There are a number of laundries just nearby which is very convenient when you are travelling around a lot. This hotel is a very tranquil place to stay in a big busy city. We had two very good night’s sleep owing to the peace and quiet. Our room was enormous 22 feet by 16 feet with a fine arched brick ceiling 12 to 15 feet high. The extremely comfortable double bed measured a huge 7 foot by 7 foot with four - nice! Everywhere in this hotel is filled with old world character and charm. From the 11 foot high double French doors with shutters to the thoughtful provision of a wardrobe, bedside tables, 2 sofas, a desk and a rack to put your baggage on. The solid thick stone walls are cool by day in the summer and warm at night. However, the 18th century styling does not in any way compromise the modern facilities. Wi-Fi is strong and consistent. There are electrical sockets all around the room for charging phones. The rooms are well lit. The large en-suite bathroom has a strong shower over a bath with lots of hot water. A hairdryer, clean fresh towels and soft loo roll are all provided free of charge and the room is impeccably clean at all times.
