The room was very spacious, with a well equipped kitchenette, and the terrace was lovely. Since this trip was our honeymoon, John even left us a couple of beers in the fridge for us to enjoy :)

Situated 5 km from AMI Stadium in Christchurch, Racecourse Hotel and Motor Lodge features free WiFi access and free private parking. We arrived abit later then expected (after closing time) but was absolutely relieved with the after hours care and privacy. great stay, love the setup and uber'ed dinner straight to our door 😍

Lakes Edge Holiday Park offers free on-site parking. It is 5 minutes' walk from Tekapo Springs. Free Unlimited WiFi available to all guests. Great place to stay on the river. We had dinner overlooking the river. They had a great children's playground and restaurant. The rooms were also quite nice.

The Garden Hotel, Christchurch features a restaurant, café and ample free on-site parking. It is 650 metres from Shirley Golf Course and 850 metres from Palms Shopping Mall. Very spacious and clean rooms. Extremely comfortable beds. Beautiful garden views outside the window, little ducks and birds often visited us entertaining our little 2 year old. The bath and kitchen were well equipped with everything we needed.

Featuring direct beach access and free Wi-Fi usage per day, Alpine View Motel is only 1 km from Kaikoura Train Station. Heated guest rooms are fitted with a satellite TV. The location was very good as it backed on to the sea and was a short walk from town. The family were very welcoming and friendly. The daughter Tanwa picked us up from the train station and drove us to see some of the sights . She also dropped us back to the station when we were leaving. She was more than generous with her time and it meant a lot to us. The motel units were ideal and we had laundry facilities .
