This is a very freshly renovated 70’s classic motel we had a separate bedroom and lounge which was all very comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful and the position perfect.

Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Situated on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches. Cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely location right near the water. So nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and just relax. Shared facilities were great!—Kitchen has plenty of cooktops and sinks. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot. Staff were very accommodating with storing bags before check-in and allowing a slightly later checkout. So friendly and helpful!

This motel is well located, close to the water, shops and restaurants. The room is quiet, spacious and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. I loved the balcony, overlooking the water and the hillside, it is a great place for morning coffee and an evening beverage. There is parking on site included with the room.
