I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

I visited Habarana Ambasewana Resort expecting to stay just one night, but my experience there was so incredible that I wished I could stay an entire month! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by their warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the resort’s attention to detail and exceptional service, made my stay truly unforgettable. The natural beauty of Habarana feels like an Amazonian escape—serene, refreshing, and full of charm. Whether it’s relaxing by the lush greenery, enjoying their delicious meals, or simply soaking in the tranquility, every moment at Ambasewana Resort is a memory to cherish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway that combines comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back—and next time, it’ll be for much longer!

Sevanagama is located in Habarane. Rooms feature rustic Sri Lankan-style décor and free WiFi access is available at all public areas of the country house. Guest can also dine at the on-site... We spent 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The owner Sanjeeva and his team went above and beyond to make out stay enjoyable and were very helpful in helping us arranging transportation and activities when required. Rooms are very clean and beds confortable. The lounge and pool area are beautiful and quiet. Food is really nice. All in all, a little paradise to come back to after a hot day discovering the area!

I had a lovely stay at Residence by Amaya. The place is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely love to come back!

The host was really nice, even came to pick us up at the bus station and droped us off there when we were leaving. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast 😍 big portion and very delicious

Just the most wonderful setting for a relaxing time. What were the highlights? The food? Fresh made, local produce, superb. The staff? Attentive, friendly, welcoming. The surroundings? Appropriate, beautiful, unusual. The wildlife? Endlessly fascinating. And then Maulie, the proprietor…warm, informative and great fun. If you have a chance to stay here, take it!

Great little hotel with great staff who will help with arranging tours etc. Food in restaurant is excellent. Pleasant little garden. Room was large and stylish and super clean. Aircon excellent. Wifi good. I felt very well looked after during my stay. This was my favourite hotel of the trip.

Very clean room,big bathroom and hot water to shower, and i prefer the swimming pool best. It' s very quiet and comft to stay here, the food is also good, we all like the chicken soup, watermelon juice ,noodles and icecream. I recommend this

He was very supportive. Even though it wasn’t a hotel, it had everything that a hotel offers. Everything was comfortable
