It is a new, small, quiet and very nice hotel, just 8 rooms, a coffee bar on the ground floor and a small restaurant room on the 1st floor. There is a lift, free car park, it's very clean and the staff is super friendly. Castel del Monte is a tiny historical town, a perfect location to explore Campo Imperatore and surroundings. I definitely recommend it!

Located in Barisciano in the Abruzzo Region, 16 km from L’Aquila, Convento di San Colombo is set in its garden and it features a children's playground and views of the mountain. I had an incredible stay at this hotel—far beyond my expectations! The staff were exceptionally hospitable, recommending fantastic places to visit and even offering to customize the breakfast to fit my preferences. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

Enjoy a stay among green hills at the family-run La Compagnia Del Viaggiatore. Only 6 km from the centre of L’Aquila, the hotel offers great-value accommodation in spacious and multicoloured rooms. That it has Mountain Views amd was v peaceful

The Hotel Federico II is centrally located in L’Aquila and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Its restaurant specialises in meat recipes, local wines and homemade desserts. The location. The breakfast. The cleanliness. The staff. All was excellent and I recommend it. Location 7 minutes on foot to centre. Breakfast full with a variety of fresh fruits. Hope to visit again.

The hotel was quite nice. It's away from the nite noise of the main part of town but just a short walk. The restaurant was great, though we only got pizza and calzone but every table had something I wanted. That said, the pizza was amazing. You asked about the bed above. I have a bad back so it's hard to tell, but it didn't hurt so that is a plus. I liked the height, seemed a bit lower than average and I kinda liked that.
