The staff and the owner are extremely polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. It is very easy to reach by car and has a convenient parking. The stairs leading to the centre of Taormina and the cable car are just across the street, and it takes not more than 10 minutes walk to reach either. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, impeccably clean, with an amazing terrace with a view to the sea, and the beautiful and very well-maintained garden of the hotel. The breakfast was better than what we have eaten at 5-star hotels - delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. We couldn't have made a better choice for our stay in Taormina.

Hotel "La Pensione Svizzera" is a classic, small and charming hotel. Owned by the Vinciguerra family since 1925, it is located on one of the most beautiful, panoramic roads of Taormina. The views from the breakfast terrace were stunning. We loved our stay here.

Anything we needed was immediately tended to. Great breakfast, and the staff would already greet me with a fresh espresso and a latte macchiato for my wife.
