Located just a few steps from the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site, Il Belvedere boasts a furnished terrace with panoramic views of Matera. WiFi is free throughout the property. This place is completely awesome. The people working there were so excellent and helpful. The view from the terrace is unbeattable, it was so beautiful. The rooms are very cozy and clean. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at.

Peaceful location, beautiful sunset view, clean and spacious room, friendly and competent stafff, excellent restaurant în proximity, large parking place. For me, perfect!

The breakfast rooms feature restored affreschi whereas the rooms have been renovated. Overall very clean. Our room had a balcony with valley view that our dog loved. The hotel is dog friendly and the ladies running it are extremely nice.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The AC was cold and the WiFi fast. We were able to park our car in a lot in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend!
