What didn’t I like…the stay was wonderful at Hotel Studlagil. The staff person was friendly and even shared a lovely conversation with us in the evening. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in this area of Iceland!

Located 35 km from Hengifoss, Hótel Valaskjálf offers 3-star accommodation in Egilsstadir and features a garden, a terrace and a bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Gufufoss is 23 km away. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a bar area with happy hour and a pool. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection. Parking available on site, free of charge

The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a coffee machine. Great stay at hotel Austur. Room was good and linen soft. Breakfast is continental and did surely overcome our expectation. Would have loved to stay another night. High recommendation.
