I honestly loved my stay here and meet so many amazing and lovely women. It’s super clean as well and all in all highly recommend. I’d definitely come back here. Staff are also super nice. Free manicures and pedicures as well as massages. Had an amazing time there.

The atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people. The staff is super friendly and welcoming (special thanks to Jack, who was amazing at bringing the group together and making everyone feel included). If you’re looking for a hostel in Ubud where you can socialize, feel at home, and enjoy the best of Bali, this is the place.

I stayed at this small hotel for one night and had a very pleasant experience. Although it's a modest place, it offers excellent value for money. The location is convenient—within walking distance of restaurants, convenience stores, and public transportation. It's a quiet neighborhood, which made for a peaceful stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with directions or local recommendations. The check-in process was smooth and quick, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The room was compact but clean and comfortable. The bed was soft, the linens were fresh, and the air conditioning worked well. I also had access to free, stable Wi-Fi, which was a big plus. The private bathroom was tidy and had good water pressure with hot water available at all times. While the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, there are plenty of nearby cafés and food stalls that open early, so finding something to eat wasn't a problem. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for travelers who prioritize cleanliness, comfort, and affordability over luxury. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, no-fuss place to rest while exploring the city. We stayed at Shana Homestay twice during our time in Bali. We booked two rooms on both occasions. Our total three night experience was outstanding. Firstly, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic. Despite being on a very busy street, the serenity and calm once inside the property is remarkable. This is also aided by the property being a traditional Balinese house - beautiful architecture and structure which gives you a real sense of what living in Bali is like. Secondly, the rooms were also super clean, comfortable and very spacious. There was plenty of room to store luggage, walk around and get ample sunlight from the windows. The beds were also very comfortable to sleep on. Finally, the hosts are wonderful. Yoyok and his family were very welcoming and accommodating in all aspects. They always interacted with us with respect and a smile, which goes a long way. Yoyok was instrumental in organising 4 taxis that we booked for prices that were lower than Grab/Gojek. He also helped us get some laundry and ironing done and also made homemade breakfast at 6:30am one day. Not to mention giving us lots of useful information about what to see, how much time to give something and what to expect. Thank you Yoyok and the wider family!

Two staff members allowed us to check in late staying 2 hours after our unexpected late arrival. Breakfast was delivered every day to our outdoor table with a smile. Tours were arranged, extra kitchen items, daily cleaning for our one month stay. We swam in the beautiful pool frequently. A relaxing, quiet environment.
