Set among green gardens with lakes in Villanueva of Villaescusa, this stone-walled country house features an on-site bar, free WiFi and private parking. Heated rooms come with a TV and a balcony. The host Luis was so warm and welcoming nothing too much trouble . Very helpful . Very dog friendly. So close to Santander Ferry a gem of a find . An amazing property and gardens with a lake. Rooms are in adjoining wing . Quite rural and definitely a little bit of paradise . Was so calming and peaceful . Would highly recommend.

Hotel Spa Casona La Hondonada features a spa, restaurant and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Set in a 17th century Cantabrian house in Terán de Cabuérniga, it is located within a nature reserve.... Large comfortable room, all very clean extremely well maintained building. Evening menu was good and lots for a continental breakfast and a good variety. Enjoyed our stay.
