This place is so tranquil with friendly staff who are always happy to help when you ask for it! Even though there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate through google translate which worked out fine for us. We asked the owner to help organise a desert tour and it was the most enjoyable activity we did in Siwa! The accommodation is clean with a beautifully maintained garden, nice hot showers, good working A/C and solid beakfast that will get you through your morning of activities/sightseeing. We often walked into the centre of town which took us 15-20 mins or you can hail down a tuk tuk along the road. Thank you for your kind hospitality Erighin Siwa Hotel!

Marassi Boutique Hotel-Marina 2 mempunyai kolam renang luaran, kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan restoran di El Alamein. We had a lovely stay as a family — the room was spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large balcony. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, and the breakfast was tasty with exceptionally welcoming service. They also offered beach club house access and a golf cart ride to the beach and back, which was a great bonus.

Featuring a private sandy beach, Beau Site Hotel Marsa Matrouh is a historical hotel located 10 minutes’ walk from City Centre. This hotel is my private paradise getaway from Cairo. I love everything about it, from the staff, to the exquisite beaches, to the incredible sea views from each of its balconies. The rooms are impeccably clean and everything works. No wifi in the rooms, but hey, who would come all the way to Marsa Matruh to scroll ? I almost feel guilty raving about this place because even though Egyptians know about it and have been coming for decades, there are relatively few foreign tourists. This has allowed Marsa Matruh to retain its unique cultural authenticity, with its delightful Bedouin hospitality and scrupulously honest people. I hope it won't be invaded soon by too many foreign tourists. Avoid Beau Site in July and August. The best months are May, early June, September and October.

Set within the scenery of the Sahara Desert in Siwa, Siwa Shali Resort offers a landscaped pool area that unravels throughout the resort, traditional Siwa houses and a hot spring bath for medication. This resort exceeded my expectations. Before I even reached the property, Yousef reached out to make sure the time of my arrival. Once I arrived, I was blown away with how beautiful and charming it is. The property is so clean and spacious. I loved how clean the rooms were and how close the restaurant was from my room. There is a very clean pool, restaurant and so much cute decor to look out. They really embody the feel of being in Siwa. The hospitality was something I cant explain, Yousef was so accommodating, warm and he made me feel like family. The resort offers tours so that took the hassle of having to find someone to take me around which was amazing on such short notice. I would come back and stay here every time! 10/10 I would recommend Siwa Shali Resort to anyone coming to Siwa Oasis. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler, just as if I was with my family. Just be aware that they don't take credit cards so make sure to bring cash and there is also an ATM in the town.

The staff are extremely friendly and polite and will go to great lengths to get you immersed in their wonderful and extremely hospitable culture.

Extensive garden, pool, generous breakfast and AC (although most days a ceiling fan kept the room cool in desert summer heat). But above all the proprietor, Aloush, and houseman, Ali, were most attentive- allowing me use of the room until the night bus.
