The privately run Pension am Tiefen See makes a convenient base from which to explore Potsdam's famous attractions and the scenic Brandenburg countryside. The staff was very friendly. The room we got for 4 people was basically an apartment, very picturesque, spotless, and a porch outside. You can park the car inside. It’s on walking distance from a cultural center, park, restaurants. If you want to stay in a quiet place, outside the city, where you can have a walk, sit outside, enjoy a quiet evening , this is it. Excellent with children! Real good value for money.

Biked from Brandenburg an der Havel along rivers and lakes and multiple ferry boats! 1. Breakfast included-best of our whole trip-expansive with a lot of variety. 2. Room-we were in the modern addition, 2nd floor with balcony overlooking the garden. very modern room and bathroom facilities, excellent shower, a bit compact, but very comfortable. complementary water bottles. Beds very comfortable 3. Covered, locked bike storage. 4. Location-very close to major sites, cafes and bars in the Dutch section. recommend Zum Fliegenden Hollander for dinner-EXCELLENT staff, delicious, excellent cocktails. Hafthorn bar for drinks, food, football games. Next stop: Back to Berlin!
