This hotel is situated in the centre of Jičín only 20 metres from the square and offers modern rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. Perfect location, nice and tidy building. Extremely kind and flexible receptionist. The room is cozy, big, well furnished. The breakfast is excellent. I would definitely come back to this hotel, if I had been again in Jičín.

Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

The host of the hotel is the best one that I've met during my travels around the world! Probably the nicest guy in Czech that you can find! I think it's worth coming back just to speak with him again :) The hotel is very stylish, never seen such an use of different furniture across the whole building before - it's nearly an art exhibition itself! It's also very quiet all around - so if you're looking for a retreat and to keep your head calm - you will not find anything better.
