The area is very walkable, with several restaurants nearby, including a wine and tapa bar that I liked. The beach and some key tourist attractions are nearby, including the Saint Lazarus Church and Museum of Archeology that I visited. The pool area was relaxing - there is also a bar to order drinks and food. I happened to be staying at the hotel during their 1 year opening anniversary and they invited me and other guests to join in their celebration with cake and bubbles. Everyone was very friendly.

At an altitude of 700 metres, The Mill Hotel is set in Kakopetria village. Built in rustic style, it offers tastefully decorated accommodation opening out to a balcony with Troodos Mountains views. The jacuzzi was nice, and our balcony was so pleasant. Loved the restaurant. Great location near Kakopetria's old village.

We were two families with five kids in total, and we rented two apartments. All of the apartments were new, very clean, and spacious—easily accommodating five people The service was truly exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly and warm; we felt like we were visiting family rather than staying at a hotel. The food was amazing and very affordable. We intentionally chose to eat only at the hotel during our stay, trying something different from the menu each time—and we were never disappointed.
