The Zhangjiajie Forest park entrance is only 10 minutes walking from the hotel and he even accompanied us the first day hiking in the park.

The owners are incredidibly kind and very welcoming - even though they don't speak English they're always ready to "speak" using translating app. They helped me with the natural park tickets, they told me where locals go eating, they've been full of attentions - way above the expectations. On top of it, the place is perfectly located to get to the park first and the room was full of charme and beautifullu decorated. Tujia culture at its best! Thank you!

Really nice apartment with great view. The owner was more than helpful- provided lots of useful tips, drove us from the airport and made a great effort to ensure we had pleasant stay. Also, the breakfast was really nice and tasty :)

The home-made breakfasts and dinners were delicious and wholesome. As an Italian, having caffè Illy in the morning was a dream. The rooms and the property are curated in every detail and very cozy.

Set in Zhangjiajie, WALLY HOUSE 张家界青山惠风民宿 features free WiFi. The property is located 400 metres from Yuanjiajie, 2.1 km from Bailong Elevator and 2.5 km from Zixia Taoist Temple. Extremely helpful owner that went above and beyond. He spent so much time explaining the best routes to take, laid out how much time each part of the park will take and all the prices for cableways and alternative paths. Also let us know the parts of the park that are currently closed so we don't waste any time. There is a microwave, he will put any items in the fridge for you, and also kindly helped us figure out laundry on the roof. Location can't get any better, dozens of restaurants in the area and Zhangjiajie gate was exactly a 5 minute walk away.

Beautiful place to stay in the Ancient Phoenix City. The location is excellent and the view from the balcony very nice. The room itself was very clean, with very nice wood furniture. Nice bathroom with fluffy towels. The owner was incredibly welcoming and polite even though we messed up the instructions to the meeting point (he met us at the nearby city gate and then we walked a bit to the hotel - keep in mind there are stairs involved). The offered tea was a nice way to relax after a tiring trip to the city. He also gave us a cool looking map and tips for activities and restaurants. By far the nicest hotel staff we interacted with. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot and wish we had allocated more time to this city in our trip.
