Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff were excellent, they accommodated all our needs. The rooms are all modern and well equipped. You get a welcome drink. All went fine. We even extended our stay one more night.

Ibis Styles Basel City is located in Basel, within easy walking distance from Basel SBB train station. The St. Jakob-Park stadium and the Messe Basel can be easily reached by tram. It is a very beautiful and well-kept hotel. Location is good: 10-15 min walk from central station or one tram stop plus 5 min walking. The room was well designed, the breskfast - tasty and nutritional. Staff was very friendly too.

Located in the centre of Basel, Hotel Birsighof is an 8-minute walk from the Main Train Station. It offers free wired internet in the rooms and free Wi-Fi in the entire building. the staff were very helpful. i opted for the breakfast one morning and it was a wonderful option to have - lots of choices and delicious, fresh food. the location was easily walkable to many shops and restaurants.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Location was perfect and staff friendly and room clean.
