Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. This boutique hotel is amazing. From the excellent and caring staff (Alex) to the facilities where they have thought of everything you need for a great stay. A welcome drink, a beautiful garden and a lovely room with the best shower, night lights, power blinds and great coffee. I wish we'd had a longer stay. Highly recommend.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a diverse selection of delicious options to suit every palate. From fresh pastries and fruits to savory dishes, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, my stay was perfect in every way. The combination of a peaceful location, exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and a delicious breakfast made it an unforgettable experience. The Hotel Stalden offers you rooms with a balcony, free internet access and a satellite TV (200 channels) in a quiet residential area of Berikon. The restaurant and the reception are closed on Sunday.... We arrived very early, but we were able to check into our room, and meet family to enjoy the rest of the day. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast, with local oat speciality which we enjoyed. Underground secure car park with easy access into the hotel. Excellent value for Switzerland.

Situated within a 15-minute walk from Basel's centre, Apartments Spalenring 10 offers free on-site parking. Everything. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to beautiful Basel. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.
