Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff were excellent, they accommodated all our needs. The rooms are all modern and well equipped. You get a welcome drink. All went fine. We even extended our stay one more night.

The Hotel Stalden offers you rooms with a balcony, free internet access and a satellite TV (200 channels) in a quiet residential area of Berikon. The restaurant and the reception are closed on Sunday.... All the staff were so friendly and helpfull and the garden restaurant was marvelous.

Situated within a 15-minute walk from Basel's centre, Apartments Spalenring 10 offers free on-site parking. Everything. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to beautiful Basel. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.

We had only five days and we wanted to visit the central and northern areas of the country - the hotel's location was perfect for that purpose - up to one hour drive to Zurich, Basel, Lucerne, Bern, etc. The hotel is modernly designed and very quiet, with a good breakfast, free parking, and nice staff.
