Staying in the wooden cabin was a unique experience, made even more special by a surprise visitor—an echidna at our doorstep!

Good WiFi and a solid cafe. You get to see wallabies in the evening right out the large bedside window. Dwayne and Anita were fantastic and responsive hosts.

We loved this unique place to stay - the cottages looked small from the outside but revealed lots of space on the inside, well equipped and convenient. The gardens surrounding each cottage are absolutely beautiful, and come with their own resident family of pademelons, which is fun!

We love to lie on the bed and watch the forest view. It's so peaceful. 10/10 for the view. Kitchen was clean and equipped with enough kitchen utensils, pan, pots and even a French press for coffee lovers. The bonus: I saw a wombat near the golf course every sunset throughout my stay and lots of wallabies near the cabins.

The old farm cottage was so comfortable and roomy. Breakfast and those farm fresh eggs were delicious. Such friendly and informative owners and staff. We loved meeting and feeding the animals and the history of Brickendon is so interesting. It was a great experience. Would highly recommend it.

It is at 25 min drive to Hobart airport, and at about the same distance from the central part of Hobart. It is a very airy house. It is equipped with everything necessary and we enjoyed our shot stay in a very rainy day.
