Set directly on the riverbank of the Danube, the family-run Gasthof Haselberger offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves home-made cuisine and local wine. Lovely family, lovely hotel. Excellent food and the location couldn't have been any closer to the Danube cycle path. Breakfast was incredible, bikes had secure storage. Perfect place to stop and great accommodations for our group of 8 cyclists.

This family-run 3-star hotel is located in the historic centre of Melk in the Wachau World Heritage Site, at the foot of the Baroque abbey. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. The beds and rooms were great, and the location in Melk outstanding! We came in on bikes and were able to walk to the nearby Abby and town center with excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and very helpful
