This is a great family hotel in a beautiful valley. It's very close to Hinterstoder with its ski lift that brings you in the mountains for winter and summer activities. When you stay at the hotel, you get a pass with free entrance and discounts to many places. Thus, the ski lift is free as well. The staff is very friendly and an extra bonus point for this place is that they prepare a great meal. We had venison on the first night and it was so good that we took it on the second night again.

Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. The location is amazing, great views. Only stayed there for one night but definetly going back during the summer time to see the alpacas also! Breakfast was lovely, so was the staff !

Located in Neukirchen an der Vöckla, the family-run Hotel-Gasthof Beim Böckhiasl is 12 km from Vöckabruck and 15 km from Lake Attersee. Quick check in, family own hotel , good breakfast with nice view to field, free parking and wifi. Restaurant was nice and plenty choice of local beer.

Hotel Garni Wallern is located in the centre of Wallern an der Trattnach, only 2 km from Bad Schallerbach and the Eurotherme Thermal Spa. The hotel had really nice conditions and was very clean. The staff was extremely nice.

Everything was just fine - nice clean room, great breakfast and dinner, just 10-15 mins walk to the very center of the town. The fitness room is great - I was able to do my regular fitness exercises as usual. And the swimming pool is amazing - quite long for such a small hotel. Next time in Gmunden will defined stay here again
