This property is a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. It is an enjoyable walk through town for those who like to walk, or you can take the bus. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. There are also plenty of places to park in front of the hotel. The owners are the most gracious and generous people that we have met on our trip. The breakfast was superb! We had cherry preserves that the wife of the hotel manager prepared herself, along with other traditional Albanian breakfast dishes. In fact, we had so much food, we wondered if we would need lunch. All the food was delicious, the room spectacular and the hosts and cook were so wonderful. I can’t say enough. This was by far the best stay that we had in Albania and will come back to this place every time we visit Berat.

The breakfast was delicious and accompanied by a beautiful setting out on the balcony at the front of the house with views of the lovely garden. Will definitely stay here again if back in Berat!

Run by a lovely, welcoming family. The room was very comfortable and having a fridge was useful. There was a nice balcony to have a peaceful sit down and relax in the evening. The breakfast was excellent and it is a nice, easy walk to the town centre. Having free parking is a big bonus. The owner even brought us a candle when there was a power cut across the town in the evening!

Guva Mangalem Hotel Restaurant features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The host is an exceptional person. She went beyond her duty and exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the evenings in the terrace. The atmosphere was warm and very welcoming.

The accommodation is located on a corner of the pedestrian street, and the area is flat, making it easy to walk even with heavy luggage. The room is clean, spacious, and the facilities are in excellent condition. It is close to supermarkets and restaurants, and you can easily walk to Mangalem or Gorica as many times as you like. Communication with the host is excellent, and they accept credit cards. Highly recommended!
