Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell.

This is great stay specially with kids. It's got a games room and two swimming pools overlooking the front beach. The Restaurants, shops and peer is with in walking distance. A big up for housekeeping and the beds are a bliss to sleep on. I love the fact that our room has a communal basin (kitchen and bathroom Basin) outside the bathroom and that the toilette is separate from our bathroom which incl a shower and a bath. Reception and night staff is always available and very helpful will surely visit again when exploring the Bay of Islands.

Ala Moana Motel is located on the waterfront in central Paihia. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV with 50 satellite channels and a patio.

Great stay! The location is fantastic, close to everything and right across from the bay. The property is clearly cared for with love, from eco-friendly soap to updated furniture and quality kitchen utensils. The friendly and helpful owner made it perfect.

Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Situated on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches.

Not many motels can claim to overlook a waterfall and an ocean-river lagoon, but Waterfalls Estate can.

Superb location, right at the start of Paihia. Staff are warm and welcoming, and the apartment is spacious and a very well-equipped kitchen, there is a great cafe, bar and restaurant meters away and of course the beach right across road. This place was great stay and value for Money!

Fast Friendly Communication. Ruth was kind friendly and helpful from outset. Immaculately Clean Rooms. Sufficient & Practical Furniture/Furnishings. Well Equipped Kitchen. Further Updating/Renovations to be carried out in near future , including aircon units. Fantastic Views and Perfect Location..(Flat)Walk to Ferry Terminal, Cafes, Supermarket and Shops. 10-15min walk to Waitangi. Noise(vehicles and people) is to be expected, considering you are road and waterfront on Paihia's main thoroughfare. Great First experience staying at a Motel in Paihia. Usual stay is at one of the chain hotels or apartment accommodation. Highly Recommend Bayview Motel.

Well located. Near enough to the centre to be in easy reach of everything but not so close as to be disturbed by nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable and the owner was really pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.
