I stayed in four hotels in Weligama over two weeks, and without a doubt, Mzion Hotel Weligama was the best. It's a well-equipped, medium-range hotel offering all essential facilities. The small pool is nice, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the bathrooms are impressively modern and large—comparable to those in five-star hotels. The rooftop is a highlight, offering breathtaking sea and city views. A best place to have a beer. A truly remarkable short stay!

We had the absolute pleasure of being the very first guests at Hotelito, and what an incredible experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness by the hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel itself is a true gem—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and full of charm. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The swimming pool is simply stunning, perfect for a refreshing dip or a relaxing afternoon by the water. Hotelito also offers fantastic experiences, including a soothing massage service and a guided tour of the nearby temple, which was a really cool and an unique experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, hospitality, and unique experiences, Hotelito is an absolute must-visit. We feel so lucky to have been the first guests and can’t wait to return!

Morning star polhena was newly build villa. Everything was great!The rooms were spacious and air-conditioned, There was plenty of space in the common area to spend time together. pool were always clean and well-maintained. We had breakfast and dinner at the Villa. . There was a lovely surf beach and snorkelling with turtles there .you can reach tuk tuk ride.very happy with our stay and will be happy to come back!

We loved our stay at LaRoy. Greeted warmly from the start by our host family and very friendly resident dogs! Convenient location, 5min walk to Main Street and beach. Super quiet and peaceful, did not feel like we were so close to the Main Street. Very fast wifi. Beautiful brand new room, very clean!!

Everything was as expected and much more, Sanju is a great host and will gladly come again. The proximity of the beach, friendliness of the neighborhood, good Wi-Fi, beautiful backyard directly on the river is quite a sight. All in all a unique experience and very good rooms. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a beautiful and peaceful place to stay im Weligama.

We loved our stay here so much! The pool was fantastic and rooms were clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The food was also amazing. The highlight for us was the staff, they were all so beautiful. The owners were the friendliest hotel owners we have met. And the elder man who served us dinner/ Brekky was the sweetest, taking so much care into our meals, our stay, etc. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, and will be staying again for our next trip to Madiha 🥰🥰
