The hotel was great, the onsens were probably one of the best I've been to with 9 different baths and a sauna 😍 as I chose to walk it was about 1.5 klm from Akita station however buses passed within about 700 metres from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. I picked this hotel because of the hot spring onsen. It's location was OK as it was close to the castle ruins and a beautiful park. 😍. The hotel had a restaurant for evening dinner and was reasonably priced. I visited this area to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Akita.

The hotel is connected to the JR station. It's very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I especially loved the vegetable soup and corn soup. There's a water dispenser in the lobby. The bathroom was well-ventilated. All the staff were polite and helpful.

The room might not be spacious, but it's sufficient for me as a solo backpacker. The room was clean and quiet and the bed is super comfy that I had good sleep every night. There is a small tub in the bathroom which you can take a bath. The staff provides very good service!

All the staff were always cheerful and welcoming, especially the kitchen team. They prepared wonderful breakfasts and were always happy to see us. Our room had a direct view of the Selion Port Tower. We stayed here during the full moon, and it was truly amazing to be able to see both the moon and the tower from our room.
