Dear Alnwick Lodge, and all who work and live there, We want to thank all of you for the incredible stay and accommodation we’ve had the pleasure of and encountering with in your beautiful Lodge, now known to us as thé perfect ‘Hagrids hut of Alnwick’! (as Harry Potter fans: pure loveliness, respect and fun intended). We, the Belgian family Sam, Lieselotte, Bess, Manou and spare Clarissa, want to express our gratitude to the Mastress of the house, who, without any ado or thinking, offered to be Road Runner with 5 tagalongs and their luggage, while they were desperately waiting for the minivan Taxi who was a no-show. With 2 minutes to spare, she became our heroine of the week, making sure we could hop on the train and swarm off to our next Harry Potter adventure in Oxford! We’ll be back in your Lodge as a pitstop ongoing towards the highly recommended Scotland and highlands by Mastress truly)..
