The hotel is lovely, located in a wonderful spot above a small, quiet town. The staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms were special and enchanting, and the dinner was delicious! Keep in mind there's no elevator, so you should travel light (although the staff members helped us carry our luggage). I recommend taking a walk up the hill in the afternoon, it's just a great light walk, and if you're heading toward north-east - I suggest you take the countryside road, it's charming!

Wonderful setting that encourages you to walk. Next to bus hub although a trip into town is expensive if you are not a freebie traveller. Set in a park style university campus with great facilities such as swimming pool. Restaurant very good and breakfast highly recommended.

This hotel was a wonderful discovery. It is an old coaching inn built in the 1600s and it has been beautifully decorated and is run by the owner and two other middle aged ladies and they run the place like a well oiled machine. We were very impressed. Food was the best food we had during a week in Scotland. We highly recommend this hotel.

The proximity to the airport was great and it is a great value for the price. The chip truck for breakfast next door was fantastic.
