Full breakfast menu, cooked to order, plus the continental buffet while waiting for our food to arrive to round a happy, full belly to start our day of walking around Bath. We had just one night to tour Bath and the staff were so friendly in helping us plan out the day and how to best walk around the whole area. The next morning they were able to safely store our luggage while we finished touring around before catching a train back to London. Would highly recommend the Royal Hotel!

Nice breakfast, the room and garden were lovely and located in beautiful setting in the country next to a horse farm, with a great cafe just down the road where we walked and picked blackberries! It’s also close to the village and a short drive to Bath, which was amazing to visit, though it was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and tourists in Bath.

Very big room, we had plenty of space for us 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Great bathroom too. Beds were comfy and pool was a nice plus. The main building with lodges and restaurant is very cosy. Excellent breakfast. There’s also a nice pub (boathouse) just a short stroll away where you have simple meals near the marina.

We found the small vinyard and the resident cat who was occupiing it! Our stay was lovely. Parking is perfect. The view from the terras is amazing. We enjoyed the drinks from the small bar, served by the friendly staff. Don't wait & push the bellbutton. The room and en-suite bathroom was large, clean and with quite a view. Towels are fluffy. We did not have breakfast or any other meal at the hotel. So no opinion. The hotel is a good startingpoint for exploring the aera.
