You can tell this is a business run with care & attention to detail. We loved it! From start to finish, over a 3 night stay we were not lacking for anything. The staff are so friendly and always checking you have everything to make your stay comfortable. The surroundings are second to none. The views are beautiful, it is so peaceful and it’s a very relaxing place to stay. We were a party of 6 ladies looking for a lovely venue for our schnapps getaway. We did a 12 mile schnapps walk one day - it was absolutely stunning. We had dinner one night at the hotel and the food was perfect - it is a top quality dining experience. I would recommend the 3 course set menu! The food was delicious and every member of our party enjoyed the food. Breakfasts were great - freshly baked good and lots of continental choice, plus cooked eggs and bacon. Rooms were very spacious, spotless and well laid out. Thankyou to the hotel for having us. Top tips: There is a bus running to and from Oberkirch, which is free when you get a ticket from the hotel. They run every hour and it’s only a short journey. The local swimming pool is immaculately kept and a great day to spend the day - 2 pools, a baby pool, diving boards and a slide, plus great little snack bar.

The beautiful vineyard view of the restaurant is amazing. My single room is located in the third floor. I am very surprised at the slope roof skylight in the room. I can see the stars in warm room when it is cold outside. There is a balcony that you can walk out to enjoy the beautiful mountain view. The staff are very friendly. The room is modernized and clean. Delicious breakfast with big variety choices. I would recommend this hotel and return.

Miss Hanna was very kind, we drove a long time and were a little delayed because of the traffic jams, but she waited for us without any issue, and recommended us places to visit. Also the flat had a lot of information over the Black Forest. The location was amazing, it was super quiet and just in the top of a hill, next to the nature and with an amazing view to the forest. The last night we could even watch the stars from our comfy bed. The facilities are very good quality and clean, specially the kitchen utilities.

Room was very good and well furnished with double aspect view over lake and mountain and large balcony. Lift was useful for shifting the luggage. Staff were excellent. Restaurant was also excellent with a varied good quality menu. We will certainly return!

Liked room with balcony and very nice view; bathroom with tube and separate shower. Fantastic terrace to have dinner alfresco. Excellent staff. Location on top of a hill is convenient for walking around Black Forest trails.
