It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay.

Very nice place, perfect for longer weekend. My room was super clean, the place had a nice view and the bed was very comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out. Only few minutes to the lake, about 7 minutes to bus stop. I will definitely come back here.

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of service at this hotel. Although it's rated as a 3-star, the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like so much more—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip through Italy and Switzerland. Some standout aspects of our stay included: A complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, offering a breathtaking view A thoughtful welcome with complimentary wine, apples, and snacks in the room Refreshments like tea, infused water, and light snacks always available in the lobby A beautiful garden with a fantastic swimming pool—perfect for unwinding Free public transport tickets provided for the duration of our stay The overall atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and ideal for relaxation. Good location, quiet street, but still in the centre of the city. Parking 10 CHF per night, no problem with spaces. Good breakfast, everything we would like to see. Nice and helpful staff. At night the hotel has no receptionist, you have to collect your keys until late. Funny but useful system for the keys - you leave you big key and take small one with you. Same key opens the front door. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and fresh. If you are late there is a fridge with drinks and you just put down what you took. Good system!

The location is right in the middle of the central piazza area, very close walk to the station and easy to get to bus lines and the ferry. I loved my room, with one side facing into the beautiful private courtyard and the other overlooking the cute shopping street outside. Very nice kitchen, comfortable furniture. Barbara and Urs were so helpful in giving me advice about my trains, and very friendly and warm (comfortable communicating in English). I had my own table in the courtyard. Although there were other guests it stayed very quiet (doesn’t seem to be a party district) and I slept well every night. I would very happily stay here again in the future.
