The ladies on the reception were always friendly and very helpful with recommending a restaurant nearby to eat and also the best/scenic direction to walk into the old town. The fresh chopped fruit was lovely and the breakfast selection was outstanding.

The hotel is truly beautiful. It’s wonderfully decorated, with great attention to detail. There are bathrobes provided, and even a coffee machine. The bed is incredibly comfortable. It’s just very, very cozy and charming, small but lovely. The rooms are sufficiently spacious. Everything is simply wonderful. Even dogs are allowed for a small fee, and they are provided with treats, a dog bed, and a bowl. So much attention to detail. I had reserved two hotels and decided to go with this one at the last minute, and I don’t regret the decision at all, even though I only stayed for ten hours.

Wim & Ines Roels gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, as if we were old friends who hadn’t seen each other for a long time. The room was spacious, and the facilities were well-equipped. The breakfast was abundant, and the service was attentive. It was truly perfect!

I couldn’t ask for a better Christmas! This hotel is really amazing. On Christmas Eve at night the receptionist put Home alone on Tv and stayed there watching it at the fabulous lobby near the tree. It’s so cosy , it has free coffee and tea amenities and made us feel like home. All the receptionists are very nice and I really hope I could stay again in the future! Everything was perfect. Quiet,clean rooms and in the heart of Ghent! I really miss this trip.

Fantastic welcome, we were given a map & the receptionist pointed out very helpful information for us. The beds were so comfortable, I slept very well. Breakfast was amazing, I have allergies & daughter a vegetarian, they went above & beyond in providing a lot of choice. Feels so homely, all the staff were super friendly & helpful. Beautiful hotel, loved the Art Deco/Nouveau features. You can even borrow books. Being able to have a stretch out in the pool after a long day travelling was lovely, really nice temperature. Also a plus that you have it privately for an hour. Great location, close to a beautiful park & the museums.

This hotel is set at the Leie River in the centre of medieval Ghent, 500 metres from Saint Bavo Cathedral and a 2-minute walk from Veldstraat Shopping District.

The room was really clean. The bed was exceptional comfortable! The bathroom was big and delight because of a window that it had. Very quiet area. The staff was really kind and helpful. Just a few minutes walk to the center. I would highly recommend the hotel!!
