Rooms are comfortable and spotless but the main attraction is the staff who are so friendly and helpful

During your stay at the Auberge Burgundy Boutique Hotel & Spa, you can easily visit the popular local restaurants, the craft market, boutiques, art galleries and quaint shopping malls. The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. Actually more French than possibly France itself.

Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Hermanus’s Walker Bay, The Marine offers first-class splendour and elegance and a spectacular seascape, with imposing views extending across Western Capes Walker Bay and beyond. From the moment we were greated by name by the security guard to the time we left, our stay at the Marine was excellent. The staff were very helpful and professional. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast.

The historic and tranquil White Water Farm is situated in the rural Kleinriver Valley, 10 km outside of Stanford and within 30 minutes drive from Hermanus. The farm has mountain views and offers wedding and function facilities.

The property has spacious suites with a seating area and small kitchenette. The more spacious cottage bungalows offer valley and mountain views. Beautiful location with animals, plants and a lovely vegetable garden. Our kids also enjoyed the pool and the playground a lot.

I can only recommend VillaChad Guesthouse that is located in the little town Kleinmond. This town is on a beautiful Route R44 and also very close to Hermanus. So instead of sleeping in Hermanus, I would rather recommend staying in this VillaChad Gesthouse. This is an amazing property with lots of African charm and character in the rooms and in the living room. I also liked the quiet garden where everyone can relax and enjoy the moment, plus eat delecious breakfest and/or ordered dinner. The Owners are super friendly and helpful and they do everything to make your stay comportable. Thank you so much for that! There are two beaches in this town, some walking path along the shore and 15 min by car there is a beach with penguins colony. All in all, this property should not be missed, whether you are about to visit Hermanus or drive along the Route 44.

The pretty Abalone Guest Lodge is a 4-star property situated at Sievers Point, directly on the cliffs overlooking Hermanus Bay, an ideal spot for whale-watching.

The guest house serves a full breakfast each morning and whales can actually be spotted from the terrace as you dine al fresco. Amazing, great view! We saw whales from the room balcony

They were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. ‏I highly recommend it and, God willing, I will return to stay there again in the future.

There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 2.7 km from Witsand Beach. The property was absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend it for a family get together. We were very comfortable. The solar lights provided inside & outside made loadshedding manageable - we had a fire going & card games were played :-)
