We enjoyed being that close to the beach, having a few places within walking distance, the home feel of the apartment and the secure building. The amenities are a nice added bonus.

What a beautiful place – thoughtfully decorated with everything we could have needed. It was beautiful and peaceful and just what we needed. Also, we loved walking to Canal Street. Very nice, comfortable rooms with everything needed for a “staycation”. The kitchen is very well stocked and it was nice to be able to cook meals in our little “home away from home” instead of having to go out for meals unless we wanted to. The facilities were nicely remolded even though the hotel is older. There were no “older” odors and the rooms, bedding and bathrooms were clean. We have stayed and the Outrigger before and will do so again. You can not beat the location (ocean outside your door plus large pool) and you are close to shops and dinning establishments.
