The staff working in the hotel is very kind and hospitable. It was pleasing that the little things were thought out very carefully which I like the most. For example: the hair dryer is more functional than standard hotel hair dryers (stronger motor power, the ability to operate it without constantly holding it down - the ability to use it without pressing your finger). there is an iron and iron table, there is a large umbrella for heavy rain (unfortunatelly the weather was very rainy and windy and we used the large umbrella all through our holiday).

This is not jus a place to sleep it is an unbelievable experience. It is like you are traveling back in time. The piano and violin playing at breakfast, the fado dinners, the wine cellar with cheese and olives plants for free for the hotel guests, and wine directly from the barrel. The staff is amazing and makes you feel like home. I was lucky to have an early tour by Marcio who showed me all the wonders of the hotel.

We love everything about it but specially the staff. Yasoja gets a special mention. He remembered us from two years ago, with his warm friendly greeting. It's go to in Lisbon definitely.

Room is nice and clean with enough room to put large luggages. The bed is quite big and very comfortable (best one we had during our stay in Portugal). We got sick at the beginning of our stay, and the staff has been very supportive, providing extra pillows and water as needed.

I didn’t get a chance to see the indoor pool, but the weather was so nice that I didn’t need to. - Room The room was cleaned every day, and the restocking of water was a thoughtful touch—especially appreciated during the hot weather. The bathroom was great; I really enjoyed taking a shower each day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I fell asleep quickly every night.
