The hotel staff are wonderful, I would like to emphasize the staff who are in the restaurant buffet, from the wonderful girl who attends us in the crepes (with nutella) that I eat the edges of the crepe (his wonderful smile) to the person who toward the omelets and all the team of waiters who knew you were going to drink every day. They remembered it. Room staff are wonderful, always with a smile, the hotel staff in general, is worth it, always people willing to help you at all times. The value of the hotel is in people, in all of them who work to make your stay unique. I didnt remember names but everyonr are so special for us, we would like to be back again.

An exceptional, casual resort with mainly Italian guests. Food and alcohol is great in all inclusive package. 10 minutes to walk around the island in bare feet. Diving was average and expensive but no need as the snorkeling around the house reef is excellent! The staff are wonderful. It’s not fancy, but the relaxed atmosphere is perfect 🤩

We were feeling as part of the family from the first time we set foot on the island, until the last day these lovely people personally saw us off to the dock, making sure we care about nothing else but just enjoy the well-deserved vacation. I am especially thankful to Sheena; we took a full package including all 3 meals, and never regretted because Sheena is a great talented cook and the meals she made for us every day were simply amazing. I am highly recommending this guesthouse to everyone! And I am wishing all the best to the owner and the team.

An Unforgettable Solo Birthday in Paradise! I visited Veligandu as a solo traveler for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I never once felt alone. The staff made me feel like I was among friends – they were incredibly kind and treated me with such warmth and care that I felt extra special throughout my stay. It truly felt like I had a second family there. The daily itineraries were packed with exciting activities – I had the chance to go snorkeling, join a dolphin cruise, and more. Every day brought something new, and I loved being able to choose how I spent my time. The dining options were plentiful, and every meal was delicious. A highlight for me was the teppanyaki restaurant – the Teperniak Chef MrZ Francis was amazing! Because it was my birthday, they even put on a whole show for me, making the experience unforgettable. Evenings were just as lively as the days. There was always something happening – one night it was jazz, and another night was 80s disco, which was by far my favorite! The entertainment and atmosphere were perfect. The food was exceptional at all times – from the breakfast selection to lunch, dinner, and even the snacks by the beach. I savored every bite and truly enjoyed every second of my stay. Initially, I booked for three nights thinking I might get bored, but by the end, I wished I had stayed for a week! I also want to give a special shoutout to the diving team. Miss Sarah, Mr. Misbah, and the absolute star, Julia, took care of me from start to finish. Julia, in particular, was incredibly comforting and made sure I felt at ease all day. I wholeheartedly recommend Veligandu – not just for the breathtaking location but for the people who make it truly special. This will not be my last visit! I can’t wait to return with my loved ones to share this magical place with them. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable!

Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 90 km southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat boasts of its own magnificent house reef.... Beautiful marvelous water villa, own access to the water and riffs, paradise beach, a lot of Colorful fishes, very tasty food, beautiful sand, bath with ocean view, very romantic resort. It was best vacation in my life.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Cottage, the room was nice with a fun open air shower, the owner and staff were beyond kind and helped make it a great experience for my 80 year old Mother who travelled with me.
