Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The hotel is located in a nice place near the lake, not far from several national parks. Personnel was very helpful, room service was fast and good. If you go to safari you can ask for a breakfast package in the early morning which is very convenient. Spa is excellent, also we enjoyed pool area a lot. Great hotel to have a rest after a long journey around Sri-Lanka.

Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Relais and Chateaux - All Inclusive is adjacent to the famous Yala National Park, renowned for its dense leopard population. This luxury tented camp is situated where the jungle meets a pristine beach, overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Our whole stay at Wild Coast was magical. We came to celebrate our honeymoon and there could have been no better place. The concept is incredible - a luxurious experience while nestled amidst nature. Staff is incredible and take very good care of you. Food and drinks are incredible. We stayed 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed for longer. Game drives were amazing. We had a spectacular dinner on the beach under the stars. Every minor detail is so carefully and meticulously planned. Wild coast has been a major highlight from travels over the last 15 years.

Breakfasts were amazing with a different delicious menu daily! Sanjeewa arranged a full day Yala National Park safari with Tilac who was the best and most determined to find a leopard for us. He did! Sanjeewa gave me a city tour to the bat trees and temple, inviting me to try a local healthy tea. Overall a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Easy walk into town or thru the rice field village.

Outdoor play equipment is also available at Kingfisher Beach Resort-Yala, while guests can also relax in the garden. Excellent place and service, Shoane, the owner was taking care of everything, great food and room. We also took the Safari with him , saw all the animals.

The food and chef were exceptional. The service was outstanding. The location was unique and exciting. The staff including manger were very accommodating of requests and the spa was also top notch.

Good size room and bathroom, does everything you need for a short stay to visit yala. Great view of the rice field, very peaceful. Host is such a lovely person, good to chat to and cooked us vegan dinner as we requested - it was extremely tasty, super generous portions and had great variety!!

All rooms have direct views of the lake. We stayed at the new Villa. That was perfect for family since it’s huge two story villa and has a private pool. Initially I was bit nervous because there were almost no information about this villa. But we recognized that’s because this facility opened in the end of this month (Dec. 2024). Once my family arrived at this villa, we were immediately fascinated by this villa and great hospitality of the staff. I can recommend this although the gramping camp sites should be also good. In addition, location is good. We can enjoy game safaris for both Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park since it’s located between both national parks. Finally, I was very satisfied with the email communication with Ms. Sonali Lowe (Manager - Sales & Reservations) prior to our stay, as it was both prompt and precise.
