Feels like staying at a friend's home I had such a great stay here! The guest house has a warm, welcoming vibe - it honestly felt more like staying at a friend's place than a hotel. The location is amazing: just a short walk to the beach with lots of great bars and food spots nearby. The WiFi was solid throughout my stay, which was a big plus, and I always felt safe and comfortable. Perfect spot if you're looking to relax, meet cool people, and enjoy the area. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely perfect. The room was huge and had a massive kind size bed. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean on arrival. Fantastic location just a few minutes walk to the beach and many restaurants. Breakfast was an omelette, 3 pieces of toast, papaya, watermelon, butter, jam with coffee or tea. The main highlight of this stay was the very friendly and kind host Antony. He was more than happy to help us in any way he could and recommended some great places to see in Trincomalee. Thank you! :)

I felt completely at ease and well cared for during my time there. If you’re looking for a peaceful and meaningful stay near the beach in Nilaveli, I can’t recommend Pranu Guest House enough! I had a truly memorable experience staying at Pranu Guest House in Nilaveli, hosted by Rajan and his wonderful wife. Rajan is one of the most humble and kind-hearted people I’ve met. He takes the time to sit with you, help plan your day or holiday, and is always quick to assist — whether it’s calling a cab, connecting you to a currency exchange person, or even offering a small medical first aid kit, which came in handy when I needed help for a minor cut. He’s not only a great host but also someone who genuinely cares about the environment — he spends his free time contributing to ocean cleanup efforts, which is truly inspiring. His wife is equally lovely and makes delicious, healthy breakfasts that are far better than anything you’ll find in a restaurant — homemade with love, and a perfect way to start the day. I had such a wonderful stay here. I originally planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up extending for another night — and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Trincomalee. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and even with just the fan on, it felt cold and refreshing. The water pressure was strong, which I really appreciated after long days out. I was also super satisfied with the lighting — the room was really bright, which I loved, especially compared to other places I’ve stayed at. The location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, which is the perfect spot to chill, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. On top of that, I had the best massage at the spa upstairs! What truly made my stay memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, always making sure I was comfortable. They often offered me free tea, and I even got a free dinner on my last night! Sura, the owner, was super friendly — I never felt alone because he would always take the time to chat and share great recommendations. I especially loved the sunset spot he told me about! I can’t wait to come back, not just to visit Trincomalee again, but because of the wonderful experience I had here. Highly recommend!

A wonderful place! A hotel right by the beach – perfect for relaxation. Atmospheric, with a super friendly manager Jorhy, delicious food, and polite staff. You might have to wait a bit for the meals, but it’s absolutely worth it for such an amazing culinary experience – truly a piece of paradise. Highly recommended!

Nilaveli Beach Resort is set on the bronzed sands of Nilaveli Beach. This tranquil resort welcomes guests with a private beach area, cosy guestrooms and free internet access at all public areas. What’s not to like.. amazing location with literally a private beach to ourselves as there are no other resorts nearby, incredible bungalow right on the beach front, a nice and clean swimming pool overlooking the beach, good quality, food, and excellent value, and very friendly staff all across the property
