We found Grand Rock View to be a small, tranquil place with a great character. Our room with balcony offered us the views of the whole valley where the city of Ella is located, including the Ella Rock and the waterfalls. It was a pleasure to just sit there and watch the world go by in the evenings. The place was quiet, as it is located away from any main roads. However, the centre of Ella can be reached from there by a 5-minute walk on the nearby railway tracks (which is how people normally get around there). The host was great, helped us to orient ourselves for our hikes to the nearby hills and was bent to fulfil any of our wishes. He also recommended to us several interesting dining options in Ella. The breakfast at the resort was very good and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at Rock Grand View very much.
