We did a last minute booking after our flight arrived late, they came to pick us up right away and welcomed us with a cold beer, water and bananas. The room was really clean and comfortable, strong wifi and air conditioning. The manager is really kind and friendly, breakfast is delicious and they even dropped us off at the tuktuk rental place the next morning (extra charge). Our stay here was wonderful.

The rooms are amazing (super comfortable bed, nice bathroom, hot water, A/C working perfectly) and the pool area is also great. A small paradise not too far from Negombo center (a tuktuk ride away), but that proportioned us the best conditions to relax after such a long flight. The dinner was okay. Breakfast was very good. Thank you! I super recommend staying here.

The breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options. We had a wonderful stay at Maria Villa. Janet made us feel right at home making our visit to Negombo nicer and welcoming. Our room was spacious and very clean; a nice size bathroom with hot water. The rooftop offers beautiful views of the area. Maria Villa is located on a quiet street within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. We would stay here again.

Outdoor play equipment is also available at Niwahana Transit City Hotel, while guests can also relax in the garden. Clean comfortable room located very close to airport. Bed was firm but still comfortable. The owner was so lovely. He picked us up from the airport which made things easy (additional charge). He also made us breakfast in the morning for an additional charge and it was delicious and large serving. He also understood my food allergy so that was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. Guests can relax near the outdoor fireplace at the bed and breakfast. Hosts, Buddi and family, were amazing. They kindly stayed up late to welcome us on arrival and helped us arrange transport to Kandy the following morning. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a lovely common area. (We only stayed one night so didn’t get to explore the surrounding area.)
